There are different types of blush that you can use in your makeup. There are powder blush, cream blush, gel blush, tint blush and shimmers blush at your disposal that will help you to remain. It is important to choose the color of the blush in a right way. The choice depends upon the color of your skin because your task is to avoid the artificial look and to make it closer to the natural tone of your skin. By the way as the winter season is coming, it is time to change the blush from soft to colors to cold colors.
There are different techniques that will help you to determine the color of blush. You will need the one that will look natural on you.
Physical exercise may help you to find your natural blush color. Two minutes activity or being in the cold can be enough to see a color of your cheeks. In this way you will become aware of your blush color. You may pinch cheeks as well.
First, your blush should match the lip color. Ladies who prefer pink find usually that pink is good on cheeks as well. There is no need to say that blushing lady and lady who wears blush differ much, but you should do your best to make it as natural as possible. Your task is to improve the appearance and accentuate your natural beauty.
Second, in order to look natural you should apply soft blush of natural color and the brighter shade of the color you used. This makeup will be more durable. You should apply blush of natural color in the beginning and then apply brighter color.
Then, determine the undertone of your skin. The person can have either warm or cool undertone. If you use the shade that is opposite to your skin tone, then you will not get a good result. When the skin is pale and has cool undertones, a warm color will not look nice on such skin. For instance, apricot blush, can be referred to such colors. You should use color that has similar undertones.
Don’t forget it is very important to find balance as you select the blush color. What is advised for fair skin? If you have cool undertones choose soft pink with touch of beige or mocha. When skin is fair and has warm undertones, then apricot and peach color with a touch of pink will be suitable for you.
Try light raspberry color for medium skin tone that has cool undertones. Cranberry and pink will also be good. The same tone of skin but with warm undertones should be enhanced with apricot and soft coral blush with brown touch.
What is advised for dark skin? Select plum, dark raspberry or grape for skin that has cool undertones. In case it features warm undertones deep coral blush with touch of bronze will suit you. Brown suede can be also an alternative.
As you look for the right color do not forget about clothes you put on. This factor should be also taken into consideration.
